Pioneer DVR-A07XLA High Speed DVD Writer

Strengths: Very quite, nice looking bezel, great software.

Weakness: No double layer burning, price

This is the best DVD burner I ever had. It is very quite (which actually makes it different from the non-retail version 107). For example, when reading music CDs, it does not (and does not have to) run at full speed, like other DVD drives to, which makes it very quite. Also the software if comes with it is very good. Especially DVD movie factory and DVD Video Studio are the one of the best softwares in their category. I actually bought this DVD burner just for these two software (which are sold for about $160 if bought seperately). However, I did not like the backup software that came with it (which is the only non ULEAD software in the package), it crashed multiple times while spanning multiple DVDs.
