The new Logitech G9x

Strengths: Programmable buttons, high sensitivity, and CUSTOM GRIPS AVAILABLE!

Weakness: Middle mouse button is still a bit hard to click in the production mouse, cable is a little stiff, but that does make it easier to "train" to sit the way you want, so as not to restrict movement.

Used this mouse in the beta, and loved it. The cable is a stiffer, braided material, which allows you to 'train' it to go the direction you want, but it can be a bit stiff. Cable is more than long enough for my needs, and I keep my computer on the other side of a large desk.
Comes with two sets of weights to mix and match for your comfort, in a very nice, padded, aluminum box with the G9x logo on it.
Has two different grips that are interchangeable, one smooth and a bit larger than its rougher textured cousin. Personally, I prefer the texture on the small, but the size of the large. The button to push to change them is a little less obvious than I would like, but it works well. The nicest feature is the ability to go to the Logitech site, and upload a picture for a custom grip for around $20.
The buttons are all programmable by the provided software, that changes functions of the buttons in a profile defined by which executable you start. Need a quicker access to the knife in CoD4? Set a profile. Want to switch to the lasso button on the fly in Photoshop? New profile. Just completely ran out of hot keys on your hunter in WoW? New Profile! Software is a little ungainly, but once you sort out the learning curve, you'll never buy another mouse...except maybe two of this one for when it eventually dies heheh :)

Overall, an Excellent mouse. I would never have considered paying this much for a mouse, gaming level or not, until now. It's worth every penny..
