Description:
This is the GeForce FX5200 Video Card AGP 8x 128MB (128-bit) DDR Grapics Processor Unit with TV Out and DVI Out. Users, who hunger for eye-candy animation without breaking the bank, will experience cinematic- quality effects and studio-quality color from the GeForce FX 5200. The NVIDIA CineFX engine allows developers to easily apply their distinctive style to digital content, achieving cinematic visual effects in real time with specialized graphics programs called shaders. Powered by the CineFX engine, the GeForce FX shifts the focus from simple pixel fill rate to sophisticated pixel shading. The GeForce FX eliminates many programming barriers previously associated with pixel shaders by supporting long programs for even the most elaborate effects, and conditional branching capabilities for greater efficiency.

I got this to put in a Dell...
Strengths: Nvidia's broad compatibility, DirectX9 support, Silent, Cheap
Weakness: Slower than others, but then they're more expensive
I got this to put in a Dell whitebox I just got. I've had good experience with Nvidia over the years. And if you go to buy the Dimension 8300 the only low-priced card listed is the Nvidia, even though the two high end ones are ATI. That and the reviews I've read made it sound like it suited my needs. It's a good general use card, ok for "occasional" game playing, no fan (to be as quiet as...

Strengths: It's very good vcard - very convenient .It's one of the best cards with good performance and low price
Weakness: Not very good performance on dx 9
GeForce FX5200 is very advantageous low end card .For your money you get one great producte with average performance and much more 3d effects than ati's based rivalry cards. One of them is hardware support of DX9.On AthlonXP 2000+ - 3Dmark01 - 7800 points .That's very good deal for the poor customer who can satisfy on lower resolution like 800x600 but with excelent frame rate - above 50-60

Strengths: Good quality, price
Weakness: Haven't discovered any so far but I haven't done much yet to test its capabilities.
I'm not a gamer but I wanted a good card at a reasonable price in the first PC I built and this fit the bill. Microsoft XP OS didn't like it on installation because MSI didn't acquire their digital signature for the product but I installed it anyway and there have been no conflicts or problems so far.

I have owned this card in my gaming machine for over two years, i have had no problems and have found that it is still running todays games such as Riddik, Doom 3, and MOH - PA. This card is the best piece of hardware i have had... I really recommend it.

Replaced my GeForce 3 Ti500 with...
Strengths: Frame Rates Boosted.. Eye popping graphics..
Weakness: May Require a hi end monitor to really appreciate the difference between a hi end GeForce 3.. I don't see the value in upgrading from a GeForce 3 Ti500 which I have
Replaced my GeForce 3 Ti500 with this card due to 128MB vs 64MB.. No Hoorah from me here.. If I had a new monitor to justify the switch I may see the value in this card as for my current rigs config.. I may return it for a refund and wait til the 9800 drops in price.. However if this is a repalcement for GeForce 2 or earlier than its a great buy.. I paid $99.00 for it and thats a pretty good deal...
