Excellent phones and cost/performance ratio
Strengths: Ambient noise cancellation was phenominal.
Weakness: Seemed to get a little heavy after a few hours, but I couldn't take them off.
My phones were received as a Christmas present and I had considered swapping them after reading another's review. However, I reserved judgement and tried them out on a trip from Milwaukee to Phoenix this January. To say the least, these phones are phenominal. not worth the $$$
Strengths: comfort when the pads stay
Weakness: pads fall off easily, NC function doesn't work as well. Only blocks maybe 30% of ambient noise. Low bass response
I live near an airport so I can hear jets passing by when I'm outside. These headphones does not work well in blocking the jet noise. It does work but just not well. I returned it after 1 day since I can get regular headphones with better fidelity for about the same price.

Not worth the $$$
Strengths: Comfort
Weakness: noise cancellation, low fidelity
Bought these and returned them 48 hours later. Sound was distorted at low levels with NC on or off. NC was a joke. Basically, it filtered out the lower frequency noise but left all of the really annoying higher frequency noise. Didn't want to waste my time taking these on an airplane.

Good value
Strengths: Low price, comfortable, they work, good battery life.
Weakness: None
Claim 75% reduction which is a stretch. They did work well and include the airplane plug adapter. Used them for approx 12 hours so far and still have original battery. I'm pleased with this purchase. To me, the improved performance of the Bose didn't outweigh the premium price.
