Peace of MindStrengths: Elegant front bezel, smooth open/close, quiet operation, feature-rich and versatile for creating countless burning options, reliable Weakness: N/A - no 18X for the SATA models as of yet I was looking for a top-notch DVD Writer and I came across the PX-755SA. I chose this to reduce clutter inside my pc case and also because my particular motherboard had a problem with running IDE optical drives. Strengths: Great Price for excellent quality burner install and Firmware upgrade. SATA is really good, fast and no coaster. I love it
