Logitech Z-10 speakers
Strengths: Great Build, Excellent Sound
Weakness: Size is a bit big
This is a 2-speaker set from Logitech with some great features like built-in LCD and dual-cones to output great sound without a sub. the speakers are bit big in size (compared to other 2.1 speakers) but they are very stylish and the LCD looks nice. It has a touch-panel for controls on the speaker body and they look very good. Good sound without a sub. these are pricey but worth it.

Sexy looking speakers
Strengths: Really great looking, lots of features
Weakness: Could be louder, shiny finish scratches easily and collects dust. Expensive. Only works with Windows PCs.
Bought a pair of these off amazon.com for $60 to replace an aging pair of 2.1 creative labs speakers. These don't sound as great due to the lack of a subwoofer, but they still sound great. Midranges are excellent. Treble is acceptable. Lack of bass and the loud "ooomf" that a subwoofer brings is one weak point. That said, looks great, very well designed, and the LCD display is actually functional...

Slick speakers and just that.. for Vista users
Strengths: Slick looks and clear sound. Easy to use controls. Better sound quality and bass response than my old 3 piece Altec Lansing.
Weakness: Media display does not work with iTunes on Vista. Included software doesn't work well with Vista.
These are nice speakers. But for the price, you'd expect the display to actually work with Vista & iTunes. Logitech really dropped the ball on this one.
I have been unable to get the media display to work, although the media control buttons for playback is working.
Another annoyance is that the included software keeps forcing iTunes into the foreground.
