Asus P5B Deluxe Motherboard / vistaStrengths: Very easy set-up Weakness: none so far I built a new system and it powered right up I updated the bios ,loaded software and the only drivers I needed to install were infinst_autol,and sound , no driver issues :-) as far as Asus P5B Deluxe Motherboard. I've heard others have had issues with the sound , but I found no issues sounds great to me,I had audigy sound blaster that vista would not install the divers even though they were vista...

Perfect motherboardStrengths: One of the best over-clocker. Heatpipe on south-bridge. Almost all features you can think of. Weakness: Onboard sound are not great enough for picky ears This is probably the best motherboard I've ever owned. It gives me everything except Wifi on-board which I don't need. The overclocking feature is one of the greatest. It boosted my E6300 CPU to 2.8Ghz in seconds without changing anything except the FSB setting in BIOS. If I must pick a weakness, I think it's the onboard sound which doesn't give me the same sound like my old gold-plated Sound...

An excellent Upper-Mid range boardStrengths: Great stability, very good overclock ability, plenty of features for almost anyone including eSATA and support for 6 SATA drives. Cheaper than the P5B Deluxe Wi-Fi. Weakness: Lacks the Wi-Fi capability of the P5B Deluxe Wi-fi version, but if you don't need it this board is a far better deal anyway. This is an incredible board. It has excellent overclock potential, is very stable, has all the features most people could want, and comes at a far cheaper price than newer boards based on chipsets like the NVidia 650 and 680. It is a little older than other boards, but that means it has also been around long enough for ASUS to iron out the wrinkles in the BIOS so that there are very few problems...

Weakness: Internet BIOS update never works I have been using the Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard for a year and find it to be a stable platform even when overclocked. Overclocking is easy using Asus AI NOS. This board also supports SATA hard drives and RAID as well as up to 8GBs of memory although Asus recommends that 3 GBS or less be installed when running Windows XP 32-bit OS. Couldn't be happierStrengths: Powerful, easy to install Weakness: None I bought this board for my very first build. I had no trouble piecing it all together and have it boot on the first try. Plenty of cables and ports were a plus and the performance is outstanding. 3.8 Ghz on air and with super-tight memory timings. Still messing around with settings in a pretty complete BIOS.
