To know the light, you must see the dark. The legacy of Star Wars Dark Forces and Star Wars Jedi Knight lives on in the intense first-person action of Jedi Outcast. LucasArts Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Strengths: -Amazingly good graphics. -Plenty of levels and difficulties, so no gamer will be disappointed. -Requires little memory, and system requirements are easy to meet for most fairly modern computers.

Weakness: -Some Force powers that were so loved from JKI were removed. -Some glitches remain from JKI, such as characters are able to stand on the very edge of a ledge, practically in midair.

Any gamer that likes strategy, role-playing, or action will most definetely treasure this game. It is a perfect blend of adventure and action to create one of the best games designed by Lucasarts so far: Jedi Outcast. The player plays the role of a man named Kyle Katarn. Kyle has seen both sides of the Force. In the previous game, he avenges the death of his father, and comes dangerously close to...

LucasArts Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Strengths: Amazing graphics, great gameplay, great storyline, easy to control the character.

Weakness: Hard to get used to using so many keys for Force Powers, and takes too long to load.

I played this game as soon as I bought it and I honestly did not notice ONE flaw that was enough to discourage me from buying it, or to at least make me think about not buying it for a second even. This game has the best graphics I have ever seen on a PC game to date, which uses the Quake 3 engine for ease of use and control over your character, Kyle Katarn, a Jedi Knight who has seen both sides...

Awesome game

Strengths: Multiplayer Online will pwn you. Many custom maps and modifications. Don't let people fool you into patching the game to 1.04...just stick with the original version for online play.

Weakness: Many many little bugs but some of those bugs are why people love the game. The original version has better gameplay and freedom of motion than patched versions.

Buy it now and never look back. Forget BF2 and Halo and all those other games. JK2 is one of the most unique games out there. Also ffa (free for all) dosen't always mean kill anyone....JK2 has evolved over time and there are other types of play than those described by the authors.

LucasArts Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Strengths: Tremendous detail. Gradual build up of skills for an easy learning curve. Driving storyline.

Weakness: Protogonast's appearance.

Games based on movies tend to be lacking. I was cautious to purchase this game for that reason. However, the developers paid so much close attention to detail, that I put this game right behind Half-Life in my FPS collection. Why? First and foremost the story. The reason that Half-Life was such a success (in my opinion) was the story. Outcast follows that same lead, giving the player a strong...

LucasArts Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Strengths: Outstanding Graphics. Very interestin and flowing story, make you feel like part of the game. Kids friendly (NO GORE)

Weakness: the storm troopers drive me NUTS by running back and forth and shooting you.

I wasnt really in SCIFI and i didnt really like and knew what is Star Wars until i bought this game. Now i am in to SciFi and i fell in love with Star Wars. This game is not just for fans of specific genre of the game, it would be very interesting to anyone. Very interesting story and a game with a good plot with addition of outstanding graphics and future weapon realism. And also i like that...

LucasArts Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Strengths: It is the best game I have ever played. The story line is excellent and the graphics kick major a$$. Get to use sweet force powers like grip, lightning, push, pull, speed, and some others.

Weakness: You need to have a pretty big system to get the saved games to load fast. First time takes maybe 2-3 minutes, but after that it takes around 20-30 seconds. I've noticed when you are outside it might b

It is a really good game and would recommend it to anyone, even if they don't really like star wars. Why you're at it if you haven't already pick up Dark Forces and then Jedi Knights (Dark Forces 2)

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

After defeating Jerec in the original Jedi Knight or Dark Forces 2 whichever you prefer, Kyle Katarn found himself dangerously close to the dark side of the force. So he gave his lightsaber to Luke Skywalker and vowed never to use his force powers again. Vows are made to be broken though aren't they? Jedi Outcast is all about the force. If you can master it this game will blow every other title...

Star Wars Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast

It's been a looonnnng time since we've seen Kyle Katarn in action. Too long, actually. Not counting the Mysteries of the Sith expansion pack, it's been nearly five years since the last full-length Jedi Knight adventure -- which predates Quake 2, if you can believe it.
