Dazzle Fusion All In One Video Capture Device &...

Strengths: NONE

Weakness: EVERYTHING

Don't waste your money on this thing, it don't work and it will crash your system. I build computers and have 3 different ones that I use, XP, 2000, 98, this thing won't work on any of them. What a waste of someones time making this thing. I won't even use it for a paperweight because I don't want to even look at it anymore....save your money, if you have money to waste give it charity.

Dazzle Fusion All In One Video Capture Device &...

Strengths: Took 4 hits vs. wall before it shattered

Weakness: horrible recording quality, horrible programs, no full screen viewing

Bought from retail 'club warehouse' store and lost my receipt before trying. Even for $75 the only use of this was 30secs of blind rage. Please don't even consider this unless you think the price is decent for a digital photo module transfer device; which is all this All-in-One should legally claim it can do. Anyone a lawyer here? Cause this is a product the FTC should be looking into.

Dazzle Fusion All In One Video Capture Device &...

Strengths: multi card reader

Weakness: too many to list - customer service the worst

I have had nothing but problems with this software. Burning slideshows to a cdr doesn't always work. Don't expect to get answers from Dazzle. I have tried numerous times to reach this company. Finally got thru after holding for 45 minutes and then the tech rep told me to email my questions. I am still waiting for answers from my email over a week ago. Good luck if you buy! I have since returned...

Dazzle Fusion All In One Video Capture Device &...

Strengths: The capture is adequate (RCA audio and S-Video).

Weakness: I don't think the full software comes with the Fusion capture device. In my case, I could not further process the video capture or burn it to a CD. I used some freeware.

Enquire if the device comes with the full software before buying. Make sure the software will enable you edit, render, produce and burn the captured video before you buy the device. Stay warned though that the burned VCD puts out tinny audio on replay from a DVD player.

Dazzle Fusion All In One Video Capture Device &...

Strengths: is cheap. If it works, you see the lighs turn on.

Weakness: Choppy audio

Capturing video to burn a vcd was poor. A good satellite signal feed showed choppiness in the captured stream. The same signal when set to capture as a mpeg2 was ok, though the audio was choppy. This USB device was hooped up to a IBM thinkpad running 1.3Ghz and ample harddrive space.
