AMD Thoroughbred-B Athlon XP 2400+Strengths: OCing..the 2400 and up processor has an unlocked core(for nforce2 and kt400 mb)i just set the core at a low multiplier and set my bus at 180. thats 360mhz! Weakness: you need a newer motherboard to unlock the multiplier. i found out about the multipliers at (anandtech.com/mb/showd...) and i verified it at hardocp.com. it is a much better deal then the 2600 amd 2700 because they are higher only by a few mhz. if you review a product at least know the capabilities before dogging it.

AMD Thoroughbred-B Athlon XP 2400+Strengths: its a good, fast processor, and can oc pretty well, but its still kinda dumb to buy one, cause its not that much better than the older athlons on the palomino or the first thouroughbred core. Weakness: only an idiot would buy it though, because its one of the new AMD's on the thouroughbred B core, but its 266mhz fsb! starting at the 2600 it goes to 333mhz fsb. get at least a 2600+. dont get it unless you really really have to have one RIGHT NOW and only have $160 or whatever, otherwise save and get at least a 2600, cause its hella better.

Weakness: Price?
I have recently upgraded my processor from AMD Duron 1.1 Ghz to the Athlon XP 2400+ (2.0 Ghz) and I immediately felt the difference especially when I am editing videos and when I am running Adobe's Photoshop 7. Performance/Speed can be described as silky smooth and crisp with minimal lag as compared with my old Duron. Now, I feel like I am running on an Athlon MP processor since I almost doubled...
