Very nice chip for the money. Great gaming chip and easy to overclock. AMD has really proved that they can give intel a run for for the money.

5 months ago i was all about Intel...
Strengths: Fast, Stable, easily overclockable, oh yeah CHEAP!!!!!
Weakness: runs a little hot, but that is to be expected
5 months ago i was all about Intel and their chips and motherboards. I had a P3 866mhz and i was going to upgrade to P4 2.4ghz 533fsb chip but after waiting 3 months for the price to drop and it never did, i finally gave into try the equivalent CPU from AMD, after a heated Debate with my college roommate. I replaced this with My Intel PIII...
Strengths: Very good for Gaming and Multimedia
Weakness: None
I replaced this with My Intel PIII 800 MHZ and I don't regret that, using WINDOWS XP with AMD Athlon XP is highly recommended as it is optimized for XP. My games run faster and are much more fun to play. XP also boots very fast. Also the cost is very low when compared to Intel. You may need some additional cooling for your case but I don't see it as a drawback, that's why I haven't mentioned this...

This is simply the best processor...
Strengths: Runs much cooler from previous CPU.
Weakness: none
This is simply the best processor available. Its silky fast and boy does it run cool. Good for OCing. I don't b/c its not worth it for 5-6 FPS but for those who like to, this processor is for you. Mine is w/ the ABIT KG7 and 512 Corsair XMS PC 3200. It runs perfect at 42C, with stock fan.
Excellent processor...I urge all to buy it.
