Well not to mention that this...
Strengths: Everything imagineable
Weakness: Asus is still using that turn brown color, not nice for us case modders out there
Well not to mention that this board comes with all of the bells and whistles, it really set the standard when it came to nForce 2 boards. This board is beautiful in everything except color. No problems, and even has to RMA a board becuase of a P/S problem, Asus was very nice and helpful in doing that. A+

Bios tends to "die" when settings...
Strengths: Power, stability, online comunity support, overclocking capability, features
Weakness: Very particular about RAM, must use top quality ONLY!
Bios tends to "die" when settings are changed frequently. Recommend use of a Ioss BIOS Saviour, "just in case". A little pricey but well worth it with all the features. 2 NICs installed, Nvidia for Max speed and lowest CPU resources needed. and 3Com for portabilty with auto switching capability eliminating need for special switching cables. The absolute best for AMD XP up to 3200 Be sure to ask...

If you need to update firmware of...
Strengths: Has every option that any computer freek would want in a computer.
Weakness: nForce2 chipset not supported by all vendors.
If you need to update firmware of your CDRW, low level format a hard drive or any other option like that, the software most likely will not work with the nForce2 chipset. Examples: Maxtor hard drive low level format program offered on site does not work. Liteon firmware update put my CDRW out of commision. Both problems were repaired by putting the equipment into another system to perform the...

This board is a good board to...
Strengths: Ability to tweak memory settings
Weakness: Not enough fan headers
This board is a good board to crankup because it lets you adjust the FSB plus the memory latency settings. Along with the ability to raise or lower the multiplyer, you have a great overclockers board.I have several duel channel boards and this 1 out of them all is my choice to use for getting the maximum there is to get. I am running a 2800+ Barton cranked up to a 2140.27 Mhz with a 171.22 Mhz...

First Time builder and a novice....
Strengths: alot
Weakness: some
First Time builder and a novice. Had some frustration but it has all worked out to be a great choice. I highly recommend this board. Read the reviews I got some great advice from the reviews. Even if you have some trouble, and in electronic parts there is gonna be trouble I don't care who makes it, once you get it up and running you won't be disappointed.
