This is THE bang-for-the-buck pre Doom3/Half Life2 vid card. I have owned it for over 3 months now and have stably run it from its default 325mhz VPU/622mhz DDR speed to 375mhz VPU/682mhz DDR since the first week I got it. This is THE bang-for-the-buck pre Doom3/Half Life2 vid card. I have owned it for over 3 months now and have stably run it from its default 325mhz VPU/622mhz DDR speed to 375mhz VPU/682mhz DDR since the first week I got it. I ran a benchmark comparison on my rig between my Tyan (at OC'd speed) and my girlfriends 9800 all-in-wonder (default) using the UT2003 demo. I got 108fps on the Fly-By BM and 59 on the Botmatch BM. The 9800 on the same rig w/same drivers got a 109/62 BM. With proper cooling you can get almost all the performance of a card that costs up to 100$ more. The Tyan OC'ing software is dummy proof and powerful (adjusts fan speed and Voltage automatically). I cant understand why this card hasnt recieved more attention.

This card kicks mega A$$.Awesome...

Strengths: Hardware monitoring feature

Weakness: none what so ever

This card kicks mega A$$.Awesome looks and good heat desipation technique used by tyan.Doesnt get red hot like other brands.The hardware monitoring feature on the card rocks,it'll laso warn u if u push the card too hard in overclocking.

You can also monitor temperature which is most important when you manually adjust the fan speed. If you set the fan speed low, then you need to monitor the temperature so that the card does not overheat. If it does overheat, it will definitely let you know with a very loud two tone beep.
I would buy this card again.
