Strengths: Excellent overclocking capability, running very fast, stable and low heat!

This CPU is excellent. Having a XP3200+ CPU at price of XP 2500+. 512k L2 Cache and 333 FSB(overclock to 400) are very powerful. Obviously, AMD XP CPU with "Barton" core produces lower heat than old athlon XP CPU.

For a standard processor for most,...

Strengths: Great CPU, absolutely no better CPU for the dollar, until Athlon 64 pushes the XP 3000+ down in price, that should be fun to OC as well. Fantastic stock cooling, better than some low end aftermarkets.

Weakness: None yet

For a standard processor for most, this is a great bargain and a quick CPU that stays cool as long as your case has more than two fans. For OCing it gets a ton of mixed reviews. Mine is at 12.5 X 169 so 2114mhz and only slight increase in voltage with stock heatsink/fan. Still running temps under 55C even under load. Worst mistake I made was buying pc2700 ram because I got it way cheap, so I'm...

Strengths: Fast

Weakness: Runs Hot, needs good cooling

I have run the 2500+ for about 2 months, no problems, overclocked the processor to 2.0Ghz no problem. I added the Volcanno 11+ to the processor and it runs under 100degrees overclocked.

I have been running this CPU since...

Strengths: Good CPU to start with, even better oc'd.

Weakness: none

I have been running this CPU since June and have not had a problem with it. It is oc'd to 11x176 and stable. It never goes above 40*c under load and I am using stock hsf. This is on an MSI KT4V-L mobo, 768mb Elixir DDR333, Gainward GF FX 5600 256mb, 60gb Hitachi 7K250 & 30gb Maxtor DiamondMax 7200rpm. All voltages are stock. I've got 1gb or Elixir DDR400 on the way and looking to pick up an...
