I replaced an 1800XP Palomino...

Strengths: It's an AMD Barton, 333FSB

Weakness: none

I replaced an 1800XP Palomino running stable at 2.25 Ghz. with this 3000XP and noticed much faster boot-up and 0 screen freezes in my heavily loaded system at 333FSB or 364FSB. Haven't tested it extensively yet but I have noticed it runs 2 to 4 degrees cooler than the 1800XP at their stock Mhz. and overclocked lightly (200Mhz.) using the same HSF. This is probably due to the lower factory core...

I am using a XP 3000 with XP...

Strengths: Reliable,fast, and stays cool.

Weakness: None to be found

I am using a XP 3000 with XP professional OS. A water cooled system with a hair over 1 gig of 333 fsb ram. An ATI Radeon 9500 Pro card and also a Giga-Bte motherboard GA-7VT600. This CPU is real fast in boot up and in the operation of the computer along with the other components of course. I am glad that my friend convinced me to choose AMD instead of Intel. Thank you Slammed!!

I got this as part of an HP PC...

Strengths: Solid performance

Weakness: None

I got this as part of an HP PC with Asus motherboard and integrated graphics. It has done everything within the limits of its surrounding equipment. I must get a better graphics board.
