Excellent drive - great overall improvement for the system
Strengths: Very fast, totally quiet, energy efficient
Weakness: price - otherwise I would give this drive 5*
Great boot drive - overall Writes are about the same as with a fast conventional hdd (a bit slower for short files, quite a bit faster for larger files). Reads are F A S T - windoze xp boots in about 20s. The entire system appears quite a bit "snappier". This drive is appearently 2nd or 3rd generation and does not seem to exhibit the quirks of previous versions (stutters etc.). Too bad they are...
