What a great board from a great...

Strengths: Extra software. ASUS BIOS Update. Available ports

Weakness: Cable layout. Documentation not always straightforward

What a great board from a great company. It seems the actual ASUS update program gets changed more than available BIOS revisions. Cables can be tight in some places and long PCI cards tend to cover up usb/firewire connections. Documentation needs to be read more than once to get the full benefit of the boards capabilities. I have been running a p4g8x deluxe for a year now with no problems.

Strengths: 3com Gigabit Ethernet LAN & 6 channel audio built into motherboard. Easy to setup. IDE RAID 0 is sweet!

Weakness: The only weakness I found was in regards to the documentation of the RAID setup. However, I was able to hack thru it.

I decided to build my PC instead of buy + I wanted to overclock my P4 2.6 800MHz processor. So far I am glad to have selected the P4P800 Deluxe motherboard. It rocks! There are tons of cool features built into the MB. Great features for the price.

This motherboard is really great....

Strengths: This is one great motherboard, easy to install and with a lot of features at a great price. Great overclocking options.

Weakness: The post boot voice system is no good at all, but on the other hand it's only a novelty anyway.

This motherboard is really great. It's very easy to install and setup. No components were in the way of any of the expansion cards I installed. Runs fast and reliable. The overclocking feature is the best, can be individually controlled or set in steps of 10%. I have mine running reliable at 20% overclocking, so my Intel 2.8 GHz HT in "My computer" properties is registred as a 3.36 GHz CPU, and...

I was somewhat hesitant to buy...

Strengths: Full featured and easily tweaked. Has the Intel PAT technology. The installation manual is superb compared to some other brands.

Weakness: none

I was somewhat hesitant to buy this Asus board because my last two Asus motherboards had problems (Asus TUSL2C, and Asus SIS 645.) I originally was set to buy the Intel D875PBZ, but went with the P4P800 Deluxe for it's added features. The fact that it can utilize both the S-ATA RAID drives and a VIA RAID setup at the same time was particularly appealing. Also, with the PAT included on this board,...

Strengths: This is one Very Good motherboard, Stable, Lightning fast and extremely simple to install! Overclocking options & IDE RAID 0 is a Plus! Comes packaged with everything you will need in the near future.

Weakness: The only weakness I found was in regards to the documentation of how to hook up the front panel connectors & the RAID setup. Also the Quality of the 6 channel audio built into motherboard.

A very Good Motherboard and extremely powerful for the Price. Supports 8X AGP and Serial & IDE RAID. Has Firewire and maximum of 8 USB2.0; PCI 2.2/2.3. Has 6 channel Audio onboard sound, 10/100/1000 gigabit onboard LAN. I originally was thinking of buying the Intel D875PBZ, but went with the P4P800 Deluxe for it's added features. The fact that it had my necessary front panel USB, Firewire & Audio...
