eVGA GeForce 7800 GTX Graphics Card

It lasted less than a year!

Strengths: The card was good while it lasted!

Weakness: Too short warranty, poor RMA service.

I'm disappointed at eVGA graphic card. I bought it because my brother has good experience with the brand. It lasted about 11 months and then it overheated or something. So I RMA it. I received the replacement but it was DOA. I RMA it again but this time, I had to pay shipping fee for both ways, which is outrageous! They got to have the worst RMA service. eVGA 7800GTX

Strengths: Fastest, Newest, Best

Weakness: price

While we all could wait for whatever ATI does with their "next gen" card, The 7800GTX is the fastest card out at the moment. While this card isn't the "Fastest" of the 7800, as some come overclocked by the manufacturer for an additional charge, it's plenty fast out of the box. While we all could wait for whatever ATI does with their "next gen" card, The 7800GTX is the fastest card out at the moment. While this card isn't the "Fastest" of the 7800, as some come overclocked by the manufacturer for an additional charge, it's plenty fast out of the box. And you can overclock it yourself fairly eaisly using Coolbits(google it, and it will give you the info). This card will play all current games at high settings without of hickup.

While the price is a little high on these cards(all manufactures, not just eVGA), the fact of the matter is that you have to pay to have the best available technology. I'm very happy having one of these cards in my system, and once the price comes down a bit, i'll be even happier when i have two. :)

eVGA also has a fantastic warranty, and now offers a "Step Up" program that allows you to upgrade your purchase.

Best to wait for what ATI has to...

Strengths: Currently the fastest videocard...

Weakness: Bandwidth limit... not a very high improvement over older generations...

Best to wait for what ATI has to offer. If this one beat's ATI's upcoming card, then this card is a must buy for you. *WINK WINK* Just have patience my friend. Please do know 2x 6800 Ultra beats this card. But for $599, you pay less than 2x 6800 Ultras and trail by little-little bit. I would say thats a good deal...

Evga 7800 GTX

Strengths: Tons of support from evga. They want you for life. I'm happy about that. I couldnt tell you how the card stacks against the others. But the price and that I got it for makes it Tnt.How could I say no

Weakness: Single slot design. Over clocking is very low. Cant keep it stable to far above stock settings.

I'd wish they'd do a mirror design of the card. When in a window case you cant see the heatsink and/or the design that lays on top of the heatsink. In other word it faces down inside a pc tower.

Great video card that you can play every game easily

Strengths: Great performance Super for overclock VIVO functionality Supports HDTV

Weakness: No

The price of the card is getting lower as new ones are introduced. It's a great chance to buy this as it deliver super price/performance. You can easily over clock 7800 to 500MHz core/650MHz memory. It rocks every game I play.
