Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: Well-designed motherboard. All your necessary features without the more expensive add-on ones you probably would never use, but wind up paying extra for anyway (like RAID and SATA). Fired right up.

Weakness: Absolutely none.

This is an excellent product for the price. You won't be disappointed even though Shuttle is not a major player in the M/B market and is somwhat of an unknown to many people. The $52 price was quite modest given the board's capabilities and manufactured quality. It supports a variety of bus and memory speeds and the only thing that will make this board obsolete is that it doesn't support the...

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: Nforce2 Chipsets, Cheap price, Cool color

Weakness: None

This is one of the best motherboards I have bought. It is very stable and contains Nforce2 Chipsets. Very good for overclocking your PC. I recommend this motheroboard for budget PC's. In addition, its cool blue color is so attractive!

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: Low price Great for overclocking

Weakness: Fuzzy onboard sound

For the price, this motherboard is very good. I upgraded to this so that I would have the ability to overclock my cpu, and it has performed very nicely. The only problem I have with it is the fuzzy onboard sound --- which is a problem related to the nforce 2 chipset I believe --- so I will be putting in an old soundcard to fix this problem. Other than that, I am extremely satisfied with this...

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: Great value for the price.

Weakness: Board has pads for Firewire, but not populated.

I installed a 2800+ and am running at designed clock rate. Has no problems assembly as the manual has great step by step instructions. This was the third computer I build, the first two were heathkits. I would recommend this motherboard even for first time assembler.

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: Excellent price and much faster than the KT400 I have. CPU protection is excellent also.

Weakness: The audio on my board has a problem, only puts sound out of one speaker. Tech support couldn't do anything to help out with that one.

At first I was skeptical on buying such a cheap priced board but was very happy to see the performance gain from the KT400 I own. It is much faster and has been very stable during my use. I did have a problem for a while, it would not boot up at all. I have learned that it was the CPU protection because I forgot to add silver compound to heat sink. All is well now. Would recommend board to anyone...

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: nvidia chipset/400 FSB/

Weakness: no frills

I used this board to build a computer that I had sold and got a $15 rebate. I found it to be very easy to set up and the manual was more thorough than other economical boards in its class. Shuttle has proven to be very good at using technology that has been developed by other motherboard manufacturers and in the case of this board, they have continued the trend. The set up was simple and...

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: This board has a really well written manual. Also, the price was very much worth it.

Weakness: Don't see any yet- need to check if it has all of the features you need.

This is the third brand of board that I have installed. I am mostly a novice, but I went online and read the manual before buying to make sure I could follow the instructions and the install went very well. I had problems in the past with others but this board appears stable and straightforward to set up. I do not overclock, but instructions clearly describe how to maximize the data bit transfer...

Shuttle AN35N Motherboard

Strengths: Everything seems stable. The manual was really clear, and I am not an experienced pc builder. Everthing on the motherboard was easy to find and clearly labeled.

Weakness: Don't know of any problems at this time.

I don't do anything that the manufacturer doesn't recommend- for example I do not overclock and I leave most default settings in the BIOS. Even though I have little experience, I did install the memory so that it is 128 bit data transfer rate and this can be missed if you haven't read the entire manual- even if you are new at this- don't miss page 41 for DIMM installation.
